Girls supported through multi-year bursaries and education assistance

Unlocking futures...
At Educating Africa, impact is not assumed. It is tracked, measured, and continuously strengthened. We exist to empower girls aged 9–18 to access quality education, develop future-ready skills, and break cycles of poverty.
Our work spans education access, digital empowerment, teacher development, and holistic wellbeing, delivered across communities in Kenya and Nigeria.
Impact is growing each year and so is our ambition.

For many girls, the primary barrier to education is financial.
Through bursaries and practical support, we remove obstacles to enrolment, attendance, and retention — ensuring that girls can remain in school and progress through their education.
We Measure:
Education is the foundation of every future outcome. Retention is the first marker of change.

Access to school alone is not enough.
The modern economy requires digital confidence, technological fluency, and problem-solving skills. Without these competencies, students risk being excluded from the opportunities of the future.
We deliver structured digital and AI literacy programmes across partner schools, equipping girls with the skills needed to participate in the digital economy.
We Measure:
Digital access closes the gap. Digital confidence expands possibilities.

Impact multiplies when teachers are empowered.
Through targeted professional development, we support teachers in delivering inclusive, student-centred, technology-enabled learning experiences.
We Measure:
By strengthening teachers, we strengthen entire learning environments.

Academic progress cannot thrive without psychological safety.
Our mentoring programmes, wellbeing workshops, and careers exposure sessions help more girls feel confident, supported, and capable of pursuing their ambitions.

Belonging fuels achievement.

At 9 years old, Emmanuella came from a struggling home where putting food on the table was difficult, and her father couldn’t afford basic schooling. Everything changed when we held our first scholarship assessment in 2019 and met her. Emmanuella aced the test, earning the scholarship.
On the day we visited her home to share the news, Emmanuella was overjoyed—her excitement knew no bounds. Her two younger siblings joined in the celebration, saying they wanted to be just like their sister.
With the scholarship in place, she enrolled and stayed in school—no longer worrying about fees each term. Six years later, Emmanuella completed her secondary education in 2025, turning what once seemed impossible into a finished milestone.
Now, with her secondary certificate in hand, she’s set to pursue the next chapter of her education and her dreams. You rock girl!
